Busy busy

Well, I have not written for so long and yet so much has happened. We have been really busy with school and parental visits. John's mum was here for 2 weeks and now my mum is here with her friend Mo.

So, over the past few weeks we have been to Kirtipur - a town just outside Kathmandu to visit two children who are sponsored by John's parents, which was lovely. We went to a Buddhist temple called Namo Buddha, which we will visit again this weekend. And I am now having a little holiday to enjoy the tourist sights of Kathmandu and around.

We have been teaching non-stop and building real relationships with pupils and teachers. We have also been getting more involved with a blind hostel attached to one of the schools and participating in and running activities with them.

J has managed to fit in some football watching along the way and we have, of course, seen history unfold with the EU referendum (proxy votes in place but making no difference in the end).
